| Hepburn Shire and Bobonaro(East Timor)Friendship Project.
Our aim is to travel with the people of Bobonaro on their journey towards rebuilding their lives and livelihoods.
This will be a genuine friendship between the people of each district, one between the people of Hepburn Shire and the people of Bobonaro.
It will provide the pleasures and the expectations any friendship offers.
Bobonaro needs friends. It like the rest of East Timor has been devasted by its 25 year struggle for independence. Raising funds will be a part, but not the most important part, of what we can offer.
The friendship will be a reciprocal one and there is much we as individuals, as a community, and shire can learn and gain from it.
Hepburn Shire has much to offer with its skills and experience in areas such as planning, and local governance.
